College Park Spring Fest (formerly Dancing on the Drive) will take over Edgewater Drive (from Smith to Bryn Mawr street) and feature a creative and fresh vibe. The street festival will present a more open environment for attendees to enjoy great live music, a wine & beer garden, diverse food trucks, and the local shops and restaurants open onto The Drive.
Admission: Minimum $10 donation per person. CASH and CREDIT CARDS are accepted at the entrance gates. All proceeds benefit programs and events by College Park Main Street, a non-profit organization.
Live Music: The evening's headliner is the Nashville Yacht Club Band performing classics from the 1970's and 80's soft rock time machine. The eight-piece band band is a favorite in the popular "Yacht Rock" retro genre that plays tribute to the likes of Hall & oats, Toto, Michael McDonald, Steely Dan and many others. Also performing is Ramona The Band, the seven-piece ensemble from St. Augustine that seamlessly blends high energy soul power, hip hop, R&B and fluid improv Jazz. Opening the evening is The Lawbreakers.
Art Installations: College Park Spring Fest is infusing creativity into Edgewater Drive. Watch artists create large-scale paintings in real time, walk through the Bamboo Tunnel covered in vibrant color, see and feel how everyday objects can be transformed into art.
Giant Inflatable Twister: No explanation needed. Super fun!
Entrance Gates: There are 4 entrance gates on Edgewater Drive at these cross streets:
